A Streetcar Named Desire

Yesterday I hunted for new Kathryn pictures and used for the second time Bing.com.

I found four new images I never saw before and the nice homepage of Robin Platzer with a lot of pics of the North Shore Animal League event in April 2009. (Unfortunately you have to pay $20 to get the picture in the right size and without watermark)

But I also found a page about Gary Sinise. Now you ask Gary Sinise? Will she be disloyal in her third post? No, Kathryn and Gary played 1997 Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire.

I held that picture since March 16th 2008 but never explored the source.

This intense new production of Tennessee Williams' classic play featured Steppenwolf Theatre Company co-founder Gary Sinise as Stanley Kowalski, New York stage actress Laila Robins as Blanche DuBois, and ensemble member Kathryn Erbe as Stella Kowalski. Directed by Terry Kinney.

  1. I just saw a movie with her and Kevin Bacon, the other night. Not quite sure of the name of it though.

  7. I bet Kathryn was a fabulous "Stella"! And her ex was the director. Is that where they met?

@Susan: Unfortunately I never read or saw ‘A streetcar named desire’ and yes, Kathryn met Terry as they worked together for Steppenwolf.
