50 years after...
Only a few minutes left and August 13 is over. Today exactly 50 years ago the GDR government closed the borders to Germany with building the wall. Many people died at the inner German border in the 28 years of separation. Here you can see my favorite picture of these days. A NVA soldier jumped over barbwire to reach freedom.

One year is over...
Today is my first Blog anniversary. Wow, passed really a whole year? Of course I posted a lot of stuff in the last 365 days. This will be number 266. Oh, 1.4 posts a day.
I started my little project to celebrate Kathryn Erbe and her wonderful talent and work. I hope I found a good mix of information about her movies and projects as well as showing my own little creations.
But when looking at my statistics I think, yes I’m on a good way. For the first six months I collected decent ratings. Then I posted the pictures of Rufus Sewell and Donald Sutherland at the Premiere of The Pillars of the Earth in Berlin, October, 27th and got a first high peak at my blog clicks but a little pain in my heart. Great, I thought; the first not related post about Kathryn gained the best place…

I didn’t give up. It is too much fun to blog and there were so many new and interesting projects to report on and possibilities to redesign the blog. [I love my new tabs and enjoy to extend them.] There are five current movie projects, the filming and airing of Criminal Intent S10 and a few red carpet visits plus CI professional and amateur pictures in 2011. I think you all like to watch. When I post Kathryn in flurry of flashbulbs you click. So yesterday you gave me another high high high peak. The best in Lovely Kathryn’s history. But I understand too well. Kathryn and Vincent were looking amazing at the USA Network Upfront.
I have 19 official readers and I thank every single one for staying with me. I love every comment I get on a new post. I try to answer every time. Now and then it last a few more days than I want, but I try to be in contact.
It was the right decision to start the Kathryn Erbe’s first blog experience. It’s cool to write filmmakers and getting answers of them. It’s an exhausting pleasure to go on picture hunts after new premiers. I love to make more and more and more icons, banners, animations and to write fanfiction.
What will bring the future? I don’t know [I hope Criminal Intent episode 200] ;o)
I wanted to make a Mother’s House on Festivals post for days, but all the Rispetto press was overwhelming and crushing.
As long as Kathryn will be busy, I also want to be busy. She is worth the dedication and I’m proud to be a tiny part of it.
All the best from Berlin and salute to the next twelve months,
Antje

Stylish...?
I got two stylish blogger awards at the week end. Both Nantz (VINNIE VIDI VICI) and Bev (Blue Velvet Vincent) thought of me. Thank you my friends. I feel very honored.
The rules to accept the award:
1. Thank and link back to the person who gave you the award.
2. Share 7 things about yourself.
3. Award 10-15 blogs who you think deserve this award.
4. Contact these bloggers and let them know about the award.
I) I’m a geocacher since late October 2006. At the weekend my mom and me (we’re team superfelix [there is an amazing story behind that nick name]) found our 1623 hidden treasure. We installed nine own caches, seven are still active and visitable. We cached beside Germany in four other countries.
II) I visited 13 countries: Poland, Czech, Austria, Swizz, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands (only Denmark is missing in Germany’s neighbors), Slovakia (and also Czechoslovakia), Hungary, Italy, Malta and USA. I was in every of their capitals beside, Washington DC, Rome, Bern and Brussels, Warsaw. I plan to see much more of the world.
III) I lost half of my family within 13 months. My dad died June 2005 with 57 years and my sister July 2006 with 21 years.
IV) My sister was 2 centimeter smaller than me at birth. This tale difference never changed over our growing. As I stopped growing with 1,51 m = 5 feet we knew she wouldn’t reach the magical 1,50 m.
V) My grandpa (father of my mom) was born in 1899. My mom was born as he was in his late 50’s. He must fight in both World Wars. He was an aeronautical pioneer. I can proof it here. He was a dentist but didn’t finish his doctor thesis.
VI) If I can finish my PhD thesis, I’ll be the first Dr. in our family.
VII) I was born in a country which didn’t exist anymore and I survived two currency unions.
Nominations: There are so many good blogs outside, and a lot of them already got an award. But I want to point on Criminal Intent Musings of my friend Quietfire. No one can combine music and video like her. When you’re also a fan of Human Target. Visit her new blog.

Scheeflöckchen Weißröckchen
Berlin is covered with snow since beginning of December. I hope the winter will not be like last year. I can't stand it any longer. Anyhow, I love this clip:

Happy Birthday, Hannah
I wrote this little drabble for the Cool Challenge on Law and Order 100. I think today it needs a little update.
“Hannah, hurry up. We wanna start,” Barbi yelled toward the kitchen.
“C’mon kid we checked out four films and have just that night,” Susan giggled, while drinking up her second margarita.
“I just get the ice-cubes. I know we’ll need them after seeing his naked butt,” Hannah called and sat down next Suzanne, placing the bowl with the frozen surprises onto the table. “Which order?”
“Guy, Claire Dolan, Household Saints…” Susan listed.
“But only the beginning ‘till…” Antje snorted.
“I think I get crazy, when I see Joseph Santangelo’s upper arms again,” Suzanne groaned.
“And finally Naked Tango,” all five women moaned in unison.
“Hannah, are this little penis ice-cubes?”
She nodded dirtily and winked into Antje’s direction. “It’s all her fault. She gave it to me.”
“Coooool!”
Hannah, I think now you unpacked your gift and I hope you like your little gifts. Have a great day. Enjoy your next year of live. I know there will be a few changing. The Diploma Thesis will be done and maybe you’ll find a job as Historian or you will go on with your second studies and pass more exams.
You’ll run more and exciting doggy competitions, also with Aidan at your side.
Maybe Mr. Right will cross your way. Who knows?
You know I’ll be here. I’ll support you.
We have to meet again as soon as possible. It’s great to chat about everything vis-à-vis.
Ich hab dich lieb,
Antje
