Only a few minutes left and August 13 is over. Today exactly 50 years ago the GDR government closed the borders to Germany with building the wall. Many people died at the inner German border in the 28 years of separation. Here you can see my favorite picture of these days. A NVA soldier jumped over barbwire to reach freedom.
