Yesterday untapdtreasure found the trailer to 3 Backyards, here and added it to her unofficially Kathryn YT channel.
I was curious about the next steps of the 3 Backyards film project. They had a busy film festival year 2010. So I wrote an email to the contact of their homepage.
Surprisingly I got a very quick answer.

Hey,Amazing, there will be the US theater release in March and I cross my fingers for any variation of schedule in Germany.
your busy film festival year is over and I asked myself, will The Three Backyards be watch able in all theaters [also German theaters] this year. Do you plan a DVD release of your movie?
Please let me know. I hadn't had a chance watch the movie yet, but would love to.

Thank you for the email.
The film will be released in the U.S in March and will be available shortly after that on DVD.
We have sold the international rights to the film to IFC who'll be releasing the film in Germany - probably not theatrically - just TV and VOD. Once the film is released in America, we will post international updates on our website so keep checking staring in May.
