100 Drabble - Bug

Title: Monster Cockroach
Characters: Alexandra Eames/Robert Goren
Rating: K+
Word Count: 109

Knock - knock – knock...knock - knock – knock. It waked me from my dreamless sleep. Confused, I opened my eyes, and the pink and orange blinking neon light that glared through the dirty window blinded me.

Knock - knock – knock...knock - knock – knock. Right the door. I got up and wrapped the smelly bathrobe around me.

Knock - knock – knock...knock - knock – knock. I reached for the safety chain and had the wrong end in my hands.

I opened the door a crack and peeked at the hallway. There stood Eames, just in pajamas, with tousled hair.

“There was a monster cockroach in my bed, Goren. We’re leaving this motel...now!”

Cultivate a Friendship

Last year in spring I met Hannah over the www. She commented my current Criminal Intent story on fanfiction.net. We wrote back and forth and in under seven days we mailed daily very long emails. This contact didn't stop until now. Today I send her an email with nearly 3000 words. Okay, it looks like we're on a crazy trip the last couple of days.

Our special friendship grew more and more and now it's a year ago, that I visited Hannah in Salzburg. We had wonderful six days I won't miss.

In the last month I became excited more and more. Hannah will visit me in Berlin in seven days from now. So I created a little countdown, to get even more excited.

I can't wait for the moment, I'll pick her from Tegel airport. I really have to think about what I wanted to show her. I have to make a list ;o)

Mother's House Update

July 12, 2010: Magic Hour. That's the term cinematographers use to describe the first and last hours of daylight - when the sun slants low across a golden sky, the red paintbrush of dawn or dusk touching every surface. Peak Road rolls like a wave: it crests in sunny fields and drops into shadow in the little valley near Mother's House. The light plays tag in the trees... is someone there?

Or is it just magic hour?

Mother's House 3

July 7, 2010: Here is our Director of Photography... on this way to Siberia! Don't worry; he promised to be back in time to shoot Mother's House, but right now he's filming a documentary. We're interested to learn if the mosquitos in Yakutsk are as ferocious as the ones in upstate NY.

P.S. This is post #50 of lovely Kathryn. That is really crazy. Thanks so much for all of your support in my initial phase.

Kathryn's Ghost episode tomorrow: Saturday, July 24 @ 9 pm - Bio Channel

I'm really excited about that show and Kathryn's story. I hope it's more fun than serious, but the teaser from episode 2 x 02 of Celebrity Ghost Story's looked interesting.

Click the image to see the promo clip of Kathryn Erbe on Celebrity Ghost Stories [click on Alice Cooper]

Thanks to untapdtreasure, she managed to get the right code to add the promo clip here on my blog.

I love Kathryn's hair. Mhm, will she get back to her natural color...that would be wonderful. The black nails...funny and perfect for such a show.

So order a few skittles for a creepy tv night or time your VCR or tivo. I'm not at home at the week end but hope that I'll find an online source at Sunday night or Monday to watch Kathryn, too.

Auction End and Skirt Moments

Yesterday ended the caritybuzz auction for the Summit School. Beside a script of Blind Spot with the signs of Kathryn, Vincent and Eric, Acting Lessons with Vincent you could bid on a dress and a coat of Kathryn she wore as Alex Eames.

I am really the winner. That’s so unreal. The maximum bid was US$ 225.

As the auction started I was very uncertain about the two garments. Yes, Alex wore very often a grey coat. I thought of the one she wore in Untethered. I noted the same coat still in season 5. But I checked the collar of both and they didn’t fit.

The dark blue dress with the light blue highlights was an even bigger mystery. Alex in a dress? You can count the times on one hand. For a short moment I thought the whole auction would be a big, bad hoax, but I spoke with a few other CI and Alex fans and finally Untapdtreasure calmed me. Alex wore the ensemble in Privilege on the Lady Harrington party. The setting was just too dark and Alex wore the whole time the coat over the dress so it was very difficult to see. I checked the collar of the coat. Yes, it is the same.

I was pacified and did also one bid. Okay, I’m just 5’ so the clothes should fit in length but I know I would never fit in size two. Anyway it will be wonderful to own something of Kathryn, of Alex, this ideal of me and support a charity project.

After solving that dress mystery I was curious. In how many scenes Alex wore a skirt or dress? I remembered a few by myself and started a request to get one more episode.

So here is my collection of Alex in a dress/skirt moments.

All caps done by myself beside the two first auction gift pictures.

8 episode moments, 1 bathrobe/towel, 1 picture in wedding dress, 2 promo pictures. Very interesting that Alex wore the most time skirts in combination with high boots…did you saw the heel in Suite Sorrow? Sexy, but dangerous.

100 Drabble - Window

Title: That is Odd
Characters: Alexandra Eames/Robert Goren
Rating: K
Word Count: 100

“Captain, we have...” Bobby rushed into Danny’s office, but stopped at the door to defer to his partner.

“...new evidence.” Alex paused and looked around the room.

“Where is he?” Bobby asked, puzzled.

“I saw him going inside, but not outside.”

“Look, the window is open.” The tall detective stepped to the wall.

Alex examined the cinderblock. “Here on the left, a gap.” She walked around the wall and behind the window, touched the painted screen with the big bridges over the East River.

Bobby rested his forearms onto the ledge and reached over to the linen. “That is odd.”

Please remember the Set Tour clip with Kathryn and also that USA Promo.

I'm crazy and excited.

I just clicked and made a bid for Kathryn's beautiful dress and coat. I don't know if I'm crazy. I'll never fit in size 2, but I want to support Kathryn and the Summit School project. I hope of a high prize for the wonderful ensemble and hopefully I can activate more people to bid.

Just three days and the auction is over. Click here for Alex Eames' clothes from Privilege.
You can also bid for a script of Blind Spot or acting lessons with Vincent.

What about Bob?

WaB 1

Please remember, tomorrow and Sunday RTL2 will show What about Bob with Kathryn, see my sidebar.

I watched that movies years ago and can't remember more than the 'fighting' of Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss.

I scanned like nearly every day through galleries.strangevisitor and looked for a few caps to my post.

Synopsis

In this comedy about a doctor-patient relationship pushed way beyond the office, Bill Murray plays Bob Wiley, a neurotic New Yorker struggling with a whirlwind of paralyzing phobias. When an exasperated colleague pawns the handful off on Dr. Leo Marvin (Richard Dreyfuss), the psychologist has no idea his last appointment will follow him north to New Hampshire on a month's vacation. Bob takes to Dr. Marvin's latest book like no therapy before it, so the well-meaning pest tracks Marvin down at his lakeside summer home to further discuss his problems. But Marvin, preparing for an interview on Good Morning America and a few weeks of R and R, views Bob's stalking as highly inappropriate, and demands he return to New York. But Bob can't take even the strongest hint, and sets up camp with a neighbor to indulge in his own "vacation" -- from his problems. Meanwhile, Marvin's son Sigmund (Charlie Korsmo), daughter Anna (Kathryn Erbe), and wife Fay (Julie Hagerty) take to Bob's loopy charm, which Marvin views as an irritating threat. Marvin's temperature rises as Bob insinuates his way into the family, helping Sigmund learn to dive and counseling the previously ignored Anna. As Bob's stock continues to rise, and his to plummet, Marvin becomes increasingly unhinged as the minutes tick down to the interview.

vox new tv fall

I read in an article that vox...my favorite German TV Network will show L&O: UK in the next tv-season (jippy, I'm so excited). Like all other seasons, vox got Criminal Intent also for season 9. Okay, I'll watch the both Loyalties, but then stopping it.

Read more about the new shows:

Happy Birthday Kathryn

What do you think is Kathryn’s year of birth? I am very sure that it is 1965 but I know a lot of web pages say 1966. So I did a little google search and made again a list.

Mother's House Update

June 23, 2010: We have a winner! The old Palen farmhouse, built in the 1860s, stands lonely watch at the top of the road. A hundred years ago, the woods were fields. Now, the old stone fences are barely visible amongst mature trees, the horses and cattle are long gone, and huge lilacs tumble across the front yard. Soon, a film crew will wake up her sleepy rafters and floorboards... will we also wake up a ghost?

Schokoschnute

Title: Schokoschnute
Prompt: Ice Cream
Rating: K+
Word Count: 258
A/N: With beta help of my friend Susan.

“Where is Eames?” the tall detective wondered as he entered the dark observation room.

“Already inside Interrogation Two with your suspect,” Captain Deakins replied while turning toward Bobby.

“Oh,” Bobby gasped, and peered through the one way mirror, his tongue tasting nervously the corners of his mouth. There sat Alex in front of their perp, bombarding him with more and more questions like a machine gun.

Rubbing his thumb over his lips Bobby was fixed by the two of them. He was startled and winced as Carver came from a dark corner. The ADA laid his palm on Bobby’s shoulder to stop his stepping from one foot to the other.

“Why so stressed, Detective? Your partner nearly convicted Mr. Morningstar. I think she needs just two more minutes and he’ll confess everything.”

“Let’s hope so,” Bobby murmured, and stepped even closer to the glassy wall. His gaze swung between Alex’s back and the reflection of his lips.

Then they came, the words the three men awaited wishfully.

“I did it, okay. I killed her.”

Alex arose, stepped toward the door to wave for an officer who would escort Morningstar to the cell. She closed the door behind her and rested against the frame. The interrogation exhausted her. As she opened her eyes again her gaze fell on the mirror and she noticed what Bobby had tried to see the whole time.

Her lips curled into a grin and she licked with pleasure the chocolate leftovers she’d missed from the ice cream she had shared with Bobby for lunch.
