Because the content let me become breathless I want to share with you:

Hello Ms. Price,

my name is Antje and I'm from Berlin in Germany.

I would like to get more information about Mother's House.

I'm a big Kathryn Erbe fan and started a blog about her (http://lovelykathryn.blogspot.com/). I would like to know more about that movie. How fare you are? Is there a releasing date? Where will the movie be seen?

Best wishes from Berlin,
Antje

Guten Tag, Antje!
"Mother's House" is a short film in pre-production. It will be filmed in August. You can check the Peak Road Productions website any time for information on the film - I will be adding more news and photos soon. We don't know yet where it will be shown; perhaps at a film festival in Berlin, if we are lucky!
Thank you very much for your interest. I'll let Kathryn know about the blog - that's very kind of you.

100 Drabble - Shock

Title: Shock
Prompt: mother/mom
Characters: Alexandra Eames
Rating: T
Word Count: 103

“Hey, Mom,” Alex called as she entered her parents’ home. She slipped out of the fake-fur jacket, pulled down her leather mini-skirt and peeled off her ‘fuck me’ boots.

“Joe told me that Daddy and you will bring a salad to our BBQ this weekend?” She stepped into the kitchen. “Tonight Stash and I arrested twelve johns. Men are pigs,” Alex groaned. Her gaze fell on the partially paralyzed face of her mother and her eyes froze in horror. Alex rushed to the phone and called 911.

“This is Detective Eames, badge-number 5798. I need an ambulance. My mom...my mom had a stroke.”

A/N: We know so less about Alex’s family. In ‘in the dark’ she said that her mom had once an apoplexy but we never found out when and why and how healthy her mom is now.

Blue

I made that collage of Kiss of Death and Household Saints a few months ago. I saw the sensual screen cap of Kathryn as Rosie Kilmartin in Kiss of Death in the kathryn_daily community of the LJ and I wanted to play with it. I remembered that also Vincent was filmed in blue. So I hope the beholder will place Tracey Ullman in the background and imagine Bobby together with Alex in one bed being tender to each other.

The disappearing and arising bracelets

Actually TJara is our goof queen but since she spotted me on these sweet little mistakes I also try to catch them…and made a list.

I love the switched badge from Bobby and Alex in Loyalty the My Big Fat Freakin' Life Blog discovered. Deep in my heart I hope Kathryn and Vincent joked all of us with that changing. (This idea of Quietfire: Did they grab the wrong badges when they rolled out of bed? is too seductive.)

But did you also notice the disappearing and arising bracelets around Alex’s left wrist? That happened in both Loyalty parts!

After the death of Danny, as Bobby, Alex and Zach investigated in the interview room:

Alex wore a black bracelet or hair tie around the arm which goes to her heart. Maybe it’s like a hidden mourning band for her killed colleague.

And then it’s away.

Did Kathryn that on purpose? Was it a mistake of the wardrobe? But you can count the times Alex held her hair in a ponytail on one hand.

It occurred the same after the wonderful kissing and hugging in the second part of Loyalty.

As Alex rested her hand on Bobby’s back there are no bracelets.

There are no bracelets as she reached for the receiver.

But we see three blue and yellow plastic hoops as Alex talked with the CoD.

These bracelets are colorful and a highlight in Alex’s black outfit. I don’t know how to interpret. I don’t believe in a mistake. What were Kathryn’s thoughts as she did that? Maybe you have an idea?

A Streetcar Named Desire

Yesterday I hunted for new Kathryn pictures and used for the second time Bing.com.

I found four new images I never saw before and the nice homepage of Robin Platzer with a lot of pics of the North Shore Animal League event in April 2009. (Unfortunately you have to pay $20 to get the picture in the right size and without watermark)

But I also found a page about Gary Sinise. Now you ask Gary Sinise? Will she be disloyal in her third post? No, Kathryn and Gary played 1997 Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire.

I held that picture since March 16th 2008 but never explored the source.

This intense new production of Tennessee Williams' classic play featured Steppenwolf Theatre Company co-founder Gary Sinise as Stanley Kowalski, New York stage actress Laila Robins as Blanche DuBois, and ensemble member Kathryn Erbe as Stella Kowalski. Directed by Terry Kinney.

Starting Lovely Kathryn

I have to confess, I’m a big Vincent D’Onofrio fan. I visit daily a lot of Blogs who place him and his work in the middle. I was also looking for such a Kathryn fan source and was very surprised that there is nothing. So I quarreled with me the last weeks if I could start such a project. Would I have enough stuff to fill such a blog? I hope so and I still have a few ideas for my project. I asked my good friend TJara of the Make Gentle the Life of this World Blog and she supported me in my idea and also added a few ideas for entries.

So, I thought it was about time Kathryn Erbe got her first own blog.

My apologizes for my English. I’m not a native speaker and I hope you’ll understand what I want to say.

Why Lovely Kathryn?

She is…

…and that is my tag at Photobucket for all Icons I did with photo shooting pictures or event images of Kathryn.

Why Kathryn?

I got to know her over the starting of the German Law & Order: Criminal Intent airing in late summer 2004. I have to confess that I noticed her not at a first glance but at second and since I spotted on Kathryn and the role she played – Detective Alexandra Eames is one of my big ideals. Alex’s eye rolling made me laugh, her witty and snarky repartee let me giggle. But the light mood of the early years changed to bittersweet in the later seasons and she played that always overwhelming. I could really feel every pain Alex had to suffer.

I can’t imagine how hard it must be to stand out next Vincent, but Kathryn did.

I also watched a few movies Kathryn did. She is in every scene amazing. I really like Stir of Echoes but there are still two or three DVD’s at my home I still need to watch. Oz stands also on that ‘need to watch’ list. I have to look how I manage to see also that great work of her.

That blog should include new projects and events of Kathryn, Criminal Intent and Alex Eames, her movies, Icons, fanfiction, caps, photos and much more. I hope I will realize a good mix…

Enjoy!
