This 26 minute film began as a genre-bending approach to a universal story of life and loss. Intrigued by the script, veteran actors Kathryn Erbe and Tim Guinee threw themselves into an intense 7 day shoot in upstate New York. Director Davis Hall and producer Ingrid Price stepped outside their usual roles as actor and costume designer to work as a different kind of team (they are married). Mother's House screened in film festivals around the world, including Woodstock; Tallgrass; Newport Beach; Breckenridge; Lucerne, Switzerland; and Athens, Ohio.
