Utterly Changed

LAW AND ORDER's Kathryn Erbe to Appear in DTF New Play Reading, 7/13 
 

Dorset Theatre Festival continues its tradition of New Play Development with a reading of acclaimed playwright Nicole Burdette's Utterly Changed. The reading, part of DTF's 2014 New Play Reading Series, will star Kathryn Erbe of Law and Order: Criminal Intent and take place on Sunday, July 13 at 7pm.
Nicole Burdette is a playwright, an actress, and the co-founder of the Naked Angels Theater Company. Her play Chelsea Walls was adapted into a film which was directed by Ethan Hawke and starred Kris Kristofferson and Uma Thurman.

The reading of Utterly Changed will take place on Sunday, July 13 at 7pm at the Dorset Playhouse. Seating is general admission and tickets are $15. To order tickets please call 802.867.2223 or visit www.dorsettheatrefestival.org

The play takes place in Yorkshire, England over three days where an American woman has come to grieve the death of her father, and to hunt. She is orbited by an Irishman and entrepreneur, the owner of the house, and his son who is a doctor returning from South Sudan. 

Nicole Burdette is a playwright and actress. She wrote the play Chelsea Walls, which she adapted to film in 2001. She is a co-founder of the Naked Angels theater company.
