Christy and Jay Cashman host film premiere
Actress Christy Cashman and her husband, construction kahuna Jay Cashman, will host the Boston premiere of “The Love Guide,” costarring Cashman and indie darling Parker Posey.
(Posey plays a self-help guru in the film.) The June 19 event includes a
cocktail party at the Revere Hotel, the screening, and an after-party
at the Cashmans’ Back Bay crib with performances by Irish tenor Ronan Tynan and bluesman James Montgomery.
Proceeds from the evening will benefit Friends of Boston’s Homeless and
The Farm at Boston’s Long Island Shelter. … Speaking of the Revere,
Fleetwood Mac frontman Lindsey Buckingham checked out of the newly redesigned hotel on Stuart Street after his show at the Wilbur Theatre. … Chefs Marc Orfaly of Pigalle, Andy Husbands of Tremont 647, and Dante de Magistris of dante all stopped by Olives Wednesday to support their friend, chef Todd English — and, of course, to eat. ... Local singer Sara Thompson will be joined by Phil Pemberton, among others, at Friday’s Powerhouse Breakout Artist Series at the Liberty Hotel.
